An “NBC Saturday Morning” promo from early 1989, featuring the likes of Alvin and the Chipmunks, It’s Punky Brewster!, Alf Tales, Fat Albert, The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley, The Smurfs, and The Gummi Bears.

Here is a classic song from the 1980s from the Buggles called “Video Killed the Radio Star” when video was just coming in. It’s just like today when internet is slowly taking over TV!

Here is a magazine ad from the 70s for 7up. Notice everyone is wearing the same shirt since it was cool to do so at the time!

Here is a restaurant menu from the 1860s, the time of the civil war. Back then restaurants more likely carried everything unlike specialty restaurants today that have a theme. A few odd things to note that are really expensive considering the time – “Black tea” was 15 cents!
